La Croisic

It is now an aquafarming hotspot for shellfish and oysters and it mainly attracts visitors with its two sandy beaches – Port-Lin and St-Goustan.

La Baule

La Baule (pop 16 400) is a seaside resort town that hosts Europe’s largest beach. Its tourism gem- is the 12km long sandy beach . However, the town is also known for its Grand Prix de la Ville de la Baule- an equestrian event that is part of the Equestrian Nations Cup. The town also opens many options for water sport activities.


St-Nazaire is an industrious town that rose with the shipbuilding sector in the area. It was where the Queen Mary was made and also where the current Airbus factory is located. The town is hardly what you call pretty, but it has an easygoing and non-pretentious aura.
