FRANCE PARIS 1ER Place DauphinPlace Dauphin is a small residential park that was laid out in 1609. Quiet and charming, this area is accessed by a gateway and a cobblestoned street. Its west gate faces an equestrian statue of Henry IV (which once adorned the adjacent Pont Neuf). The small, V-shaped area, is usually ignored by big tour groups and hence, makes for a good place for some ‘downtime’ after heavy leg work around Paris.
