Musée Jeu de Paume [Jardin des Tuileries +33 147031250 ad/ch €8.50/5.50] is a national gallery that is housed in former royal tennis court. Built in 1861, this area lies in the northwestern side of the Tuileries Gardens. The museum focuses on exhibiting anything and everything that has to do with contemporary art. Its displays range from photography works, cinema to more recent displays of Internet art! However, photography is a much-exhibited craft in the museum, as it aims to provide visitors with innovative contemporary prints of artistes worldwide. It exhibits the works of renowned names such as Sophie Ristelhueber, Martin Parr, Lee Miller, as well as up and coming artistes like Denis Savary, Matilda Rose and Virginia Yassef.
